I wrote this piano piece to have the strong accents required by a battements frappé exercise. Our albums of mp3 music for ballet lessons all contain music that pays great attention to the stylistic characteristics of each exercise. Obviously the barre section of a ballet class has many exercises covering a huge range of musical qualities and our long experience playing for class means that we can match the quality of the music to the quality of the ballet movement.
